LYNX LICHTBILDWERKE

My confidence has developed with my personality. Of course it develops better when you have people around encouraging you. I'm at a point where my confidence doesn't wane that much anymore. If I get unconstructive and receive bad feedback for example, it's more likely that I'm trying to find the reason why a person would say that than worrying about the opinion itself.

There's nothing more beautiful and aesthetic than women on this planet.I feel like falling in love with every girl for the time of the shoot. I help them to be seen how they want to be seen, and they help me to show the beauty I want to show.

I think I've always been able to tell if a person can pose or not in most cases. That's what I'm looking for. Some models are just born with it and others got it by training. Nowadays a lot of girls are trained thanks to selfies. Models need to be able to express themselves but also know how to act. Charisma and a certain amount of confidence are must-haves.

When it comes to outfits, I always prefer basic stuff. I usually don't work with patterns or bright colours. The best colour is and always will be black. It can be tough when the outfit isn't very revealing, but at the same time it might be hard when it shows too much. You have to find the aesthetic balance because the girls don't just reveal their bodies, they reveal who they are.

Of course communication is very important. You have to be sure that the person you're shooting with feels comfortable with the situation to get the best out of it. But it's also about the things you don't say and the way you act and behave. I usually don't give any instructions at the beginning of the shooting so the model can evolve. It should be an easy-going situation. Therefore music is also very helpful. After a warm-up phase I come up with my suggestions and ideas but I usually never try to convince anybody if they don't like the idea.

One of the most challenging aspects of my work but one that I am truly grateful for is: This interview because it's always hard for me to express my conviction and feelings in words.

I'm always optimistic about the future but I actually thought about quitting this type of photography. I'm not sure if this lifestyle will suit me in the upcoming years, but let's see - then we'll know (free translated Bavarian saying).

The end of civilization will be caused by: Zombie apocalypse. There are days I'm praying for one to happen.
