LEEANA JACOBS

I draw from my confidence from understanding that there is only one you. I once got told that there will always be someone smarter, prettier, and nicer than you but there will never be another you. I feel as long as I give 100% to my craft of modeling thn the cards will lay where they will. So essential just having confidence in what I am doing and not worrying about what others are as well as understanding that as long as you work hard, life will work itself out.

I was always comfortable taking a photo but I think I became comfortable in my own skin when I started to enjoy the unique physical qualities about myself. So for instance, one thing unique about me is my birthmark on the side of my face below my eye. I used to hate it and as time went on and I started to understand my angles better, I started to find love for it. It's the little things about yourself that you have to learn to love and be comfortable with. Now I am to the point where I am comfortable in my own skin and I embrace my uniqueness.

One of the most memorable items I have worn was this all brown outfit. It had a similar feel to the Yeezy clothing collection and I just loved the brown hues of it.

I mentally prepare by physically preparing. I make sure that I am comfortable with my body and that I ate the right foods just because when you physically feel confident, it is easier to mentally be confident. I do like to connect with the photographer or company before shooting. So whether it is following them on Instagram or texting briefly, I like to go into every situation with my research done.

I tend to do a case by case basis. I trust my agent completely so whenever they have a collaborative partner for me, I know the vision will come out great. If it is solo, I usually look for what can be used in my book or for social media, considering that it one of the biggest platforms for entertainment in today's society. I also like to do things that I haven't before so I really consider creativity.

One of the most challenging aspects of my work, but one that I'm grateful for is: Eating properly because I never understood the concept of a healthy living style until I started modeling and realizing that you are what you put into your body.

I am very optimistic about my future. I believe that I will go very far. The first step to success is believing in yourself and I truly believe that I will thrive. I have all the right ingredients so now it's just going full force with it. I hear nothing but good and positive feedback and every shoot I do I grow as a model and as a person. I hope there will be travelling in my future as well because I would like to take my talents to other places and use other cultures and areas as another great way to expand my modeling skills.

The end of civilization will be caused by: I probably will be sleeping, so idk.
