ISABELLA CIRNSKI

Something I think is important is the people you choose to surround yourself with. Everybody meets people that either bring them up or down and in my eyes the key is to find those who genuinely believe in you and will tell you that, not only with words but also with actions. I grew up having a great relationship with my family and they have always believed in me. They encourage me in ways in which I think had a big influence on my confidence. Something that I love to do when I feel like I need a boost is to read about people and stories that inspire me, it reminds me that you can do whatever you want if you just believe in yourself.

I was always pretty confident but of course, like most people, the confidence grows with age. To recieve compliments definitely effects it positively, too. I remember when I was in my early teens and I was very insecure about my front tooth gap and avoided smiling with my teeth in pictures. Then I started modeling and heard that the gap was very popular and gave character. I think everyone needs to hear stuff like that to get a different perception of things about yourself and your body.

We came across each other on Instagram and decided to get some cool pictures. A photographer's personality is so important to me whenever I shoot; if you get along and become friends it becomes more natural and affects the pictures in a great way. Kesler's energy and humour  made the shoot an amazing experience! To shoot at the beach on one of the hottest days of the year was most definitley an added.

I always try to get along and make jokes and usually after a while you get to know someone's personality and you find at least something you have in common to talk about. The best for me is just to open up and be the way I am; a little goofy, facetious girl. And if that doesn't work, it's not much more to it than shoot the pictures in silence! (laughing)

Most memorable items... there are so many! One of the strangest things I have worn must have been this suit that was made out of see through hard plastic, not the most charming or comfortable outfit! And like most girls would probably say, I love wearing wedding dresses [which I did] for one of the first shoots I ever did.  I would say that most of the time the clothing you wear for shoots are typically not what you would wear yourself. --Just simple clothes that are easy to work with are probably what I am most comfortable in. For example, baggy jeans or shorts and boots; I never get tired of  wearing boots with a nice heel.

One of the most challenging aspects of my work but one that I am truly grateful for is: To travel and explore new places! It is definitely a challenge to come to a new country and to find your way around by yourself, but such an experience! --Adjusting to different people, environments and cultures than what you are usually familiar with.

When it comes to my future, I have to say yes [I am optimistic]. It depends what you choose to do with your life. I believe that what you do every day will effect the future and that you should do something every day that the "future you" will thank you for.

The end of civilization will be caused by: Probably us humans not learning from our past mistakes.
