Not sure where the idea to do it in the bathroom came from but I do remember thinking it's not everyday I get to do a performance on the toilet (that other people will see!)."

Hey Marti. So, you're heading over to Germany and Austria pretty soon! Now, around this time last year you were in the UK and you made a little video for Marry The Sea while crossing the English Channel. Forgive me, but I have to ask... you're not planning on playing Ride This Out while riding The Wiener Riesenrad ferris wheel in Vienna are you? Because that would be pretty cool!

k

It wasn't a part of the plan, but now that you've planted a seed in our heads…..hmmmmmm.

So we've covered playing on a ferry, soon to be playing on the Riesenrad in Vienna --that has to happen--, playing in the bathroom. I refuse to believe those are the only unique places you have performed. Give us another strange setting!

kk

Well, speaking of bathroom performances, we once played a song in the boys bathroom stall in a German venue. We also played in a kitchen in Toronto. Can't think of anything stranger than that. I guess that just means we need to look for stranger places to top those ones.

You'll soon be making your way down to SXSW in that cultural oasis of Austin, Texas. Tell us more about that, what's the plan!?

k

Pretty much the same plan as most other bands that head there: to get more exposure. Especially since we've recently signed on to a label in the U.S. and will be spending a lot of time there in the next year. We went to SXSW last year and had an amazing time (so many bands and people crammed into that city!!), hopefully we'll be as busy - if not busier than last time.

Okay. Multiple choice question to finish it. The best thing to come out of Winnipeg, other than Imaginary Cities...
:A: The Jets :B: The Weakerthans :C: G7 Welcoming Committee :D: Professional Wrestler Lionheart Chris Jericho.

kk

Since I'm not an athlete nor am I a politician, I'm going to have to go with B: The Weakerthans. I'm a big fan of theirs and have been since I was in high school - and I'm not just saying that because Rusty plays with them and our manager happens to be their guitar player and manager.

THANK YOU. NEVER QUIT.
