GUILHERME FERNANDES

First of all, you need to believe in yourself and in your ideas, be prepared for criticism and understand that people's feedback can be a nice moto if you face the right point of view. Be surrounded by creative people who inspire me, makes me believe that my next job will be the best. Sending my photos and having this interview for you guys, that's a great boost for me.

I feel that I'm a portrait photographer so I can't be limited to shoot just female models and I love to shoot expressive people. --I mean musicians, actors, actresses, dancers, whatever they are... full of personality will always result in a great photoshoot.

She needs to understand and respect my process, she needs to have a open mind so we can push our limits and last but not least express yourself. If you are a photographer and you are starting, you need first of all to study, and not just the technical stuff. A solid background is everything. Next, you have to shoot a lot, and shoot almost everything until you find what gives you pleasure to do. Every human being has something to share, something peculiar and we need to be a open door to let it flow.

Nothing comes easily my friend; mainly when you are not sure about which way you have to follow. Keep learning, it's always necessary but without an inspiration point would be a waste of time.

Please complete the following sentence: One of the most challenging aspects of my work, but one that I'm grateful for is: When I have a idea to create a scene I believe I have something to say. Unfortunately, sometimes people don't understand but that's not an issue, that's the challenge. --It makes you feel the way I feel when I took the picture.

We must be [optimistic] I guess. Looking foward to connect with more people, spread my art, do some networking and shoot more amazing human beings.

Ending on a positive, the end of civilzation will be caused by: Let's care more about others. Individuality sometimes sucks, we can make the difference, less selfish behaviour would be a nice fresh start.
