SHELTER FOR TWO: THE EVENS ON PEI I still remember that sunny spring afternoon in 2007 when I came home and checked my answering machine and heard... "This is Ian MacKaye from Washington, DC." My heart was thumping in my chest as I realized the Evens were coming to town. After the show Ian and Amy came home with me and my then girlfriend where they would spend the night. I remember sitting in my room with Ian Mackaye and talking long into the night. We talked of many things including straight edge and punk rock but also of our mutual love of football and stories from our past. I went to sleep that night not really believing that that day had really happened. Luckily, thanks to Tristan Gray I have the proof below.
